Biography

Alois Mosbacher's work ranges from figurative and abstract painting to the installation area. He is one of the main representatives of new painting in the 80s.

Alois Mosbacher has appeared every four or five years since the early 1980s with a series of pictures that actively intervenes in the international discussion of painting. A highly relevant work has emerged over the years.
Mosbacher showed his works in exhibitions in the Krinzinger Gallery, in the Aargauer Kunsthaus, in the Neue Galerie Graz and in the Museum of Modern Art Ludwig Foundation, as well as with Erwin Wurm in the Kunstverein Bremen.
